Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th - THE GEELONG FESTIVAL OF SPEED

Located along the picturesque Geelong Waterfront. This event is a unique 2 day event that brings together a unique mix of cars, motorcycles, fashion and motor sport to create one of Australia’s Largest car culture events. The club allocated area has limited space and entry times vary depending on the day.

Melbourne Cars meet at the BP service station Geelong Road Avalon by the allocated time.
Geelong and West/South Coast cars meet at the venue.

Just a reminder to those attending the Geelong Festival of Speed this weekend.

For those travelling from Melbourne:

On Saturday, meet at the BP Servo Avalon by 0730 to drive to Rippleside Park (the formation point) by 0800 to be ready to convoy to the show venue when advised by the organisers.

On Sunday, meet at the BP Servo Avalon at 0700 to drive to Rippleside Park (the formation point) by 0730 to be ready to convoy to the show venue when advised by the organisers.

All others, please meet at Rippleside Park (the formation point), at 0800 on Saturday or 0730 on Sunday.

Cant make it for this w/e this year. 
When I started a group who have stayed in Geelong for the past few years I envisaged a fantastic weekend for the future years. This was certainly the case.
Now the MOCA Vic club also cruises down on the 2 main days and a great spectacle is enjoyed.
Those of us that stay for 3 days incl  the Fri and Sat nights have had a ball and I will be back next year no doubt. Strongly recommended to interstaters too.

I may have to just cruise up to the Garfield show for a couple of hours on Sunday as I have very limited spare time available this weekend.

Johnno, I'll be heading down there Fri as they now have a drive around town on the Friday afternoon.  The case of Coronas is ready and chilled as well as a bag of sleakly shaped lemons that "Mayne Nicolas" has approved for transportation.  VIP tickets at the ready, it should be great,
