I found if you want to buy something wait for an auction in America like mecum or Barrett Jackson auction's they have good cars.

True and you can get to see what cars they have up for auction on their sites. Not sure how much of an inspection you can give them.

One place for I found in Illinois was Country Classic Cars which had a huge inventory. Some pics here:

I don't know about that ,I have been to a few of the big auctions including mecums twice and haven't bought a car yet . Sure they were some  good cars but they pulled big money ,but a lot were what I call polished turds   .   You can have a good look at them before the auction but not start them or drive them . Sometimes if you are lucky the owner might be there and you can have a chat before the auction .

Yep.

a lot were what I call polished turds

Yeah, on TV they look as good as the big money cars but up close the difference is obvious. Some are old maids; overpriced and don't sell so they do the rounds going from auction to auction.

Some serious muscle cars there, I think I could spend all day just looking around. Do they also have an auction site?

For sure, it's a huge property.

Do they also have an auction site?

Not sure but this is their website.
