It would be nice to think that the proceeds of both sales, would be donated to the breast cancer foundation,

but it's a good cause, and good on ford for anything they do donate.

Cheers
Keith

Why breast cancer?

Why not testicular cancer? Or bowl cancer?

Why something that predominantly is associated with women? Why are men so disregarded any more.

Sexist rant over...
Black '69 CJ 4SPD car under construction (425/504)
Black 2002 SVT Cobra - 2003 Terminator Clone (575rwhp/716rwtq - SOLD)
Black ‘63.5 Galaxie 4SPD fastback (just you wait...)

I guess men and women both get breast cancer, women can't get testicular cancer and what the hell is bowl cancer

Seriously though, if you are an Anglo Saxon, heterosexual, male you should be used to being discriminated against, so just suck it up like we always do (cause no one cares about us).

$236k for #500, and $157k for #001.

Not a bad price at all, I wonder if you could write it off as a tax donation, given it was a charity.

Fairly sure you can't Keith. Can only claim donations. When you get something for the money, whether it be a car or raffle tickets, it is a purchase, not a donation.

That's how I understand the tax ruling anyhow. Happy to be proven otherwise.

As much as I don't like the new GT's, there would be something pretty cool about owning the final one, it will be interesting to see in 20-40 years what or how it's perceived value is.

Personally I would have bought a shelby and an xw or XY gt, with the money #500 sold for.

Must be on a good wicket to be able to buy at that price and then decline a 100k profit  :bolt:
