I went for a run out to Penrith this morning, car numbers were down on last month, but still had a good morning, looking at so e of the local cars out that way.

It was good to meet Anthony (axe man), funny, he didn't come across nearly as dangerous as his forum name, quite liked his Hertz Replica, a real tidy car.

Hopefully some of the guys will post some pics up soon.

Cheers
Keith

Wow, just got in from an awesome day starting at Penrith this morning.
Anthony (Axeman) racked up some miles today in his 65` as he tagged along with Dino ,Showbags and myself for a fun filled day covering from the far west to the south east and back home again.
There was too much banter (sh1tstirring) ,along with bonnets raised this morning amongst fellow Mustangers to take any pics although I think Ray had his camera in hand  :smile01:  hopefully some shots will be shared soon :thumb:

Cheers
Matt

Thank you to all of the Mustang people who made me feel very welcome today.
Special thanks to Showbags who invited me to his house to see his amazing Shelby.. (Dino and Matt....the three car cruise was fun).
For anyone who has never been to one of these events....it was relaxed, friendly and very funny (laughed my arse off at some of the banter).
Was also great to see other peoples cherished Mustangs.

Looking forward to next time.

Anthony

Cool pics Ray. Well done. I noticed Andrew (68Coupe) had a bit of a hike today. Some great cars there. That Datto was different.

Andrew had a major hike, he kept watching the clouds for fear of rain, they don't call him "Aspro" for no reason.

All good guys - like water off a ducks back.

A bit of a hike?? I don't usually go that far for my holidays.  Got home safe and sound after a great cruise with the '68 coupe running like a dream.

It was a great morning though, plenty of laughs and Mustang talk. Good to meet Anthony and check out his '65 Hertz tribute and thanks to 'Showbags' for giving the cars a once over and giving us some some helpful hints and pointers.

Cheers, Andrew

I was shocked when I spotted your car in the pics. Well done there mate.(Aspro) Car looks great as usual. Your car wouldn't need any pointers from Showbags, it's up there with the best of them.

Cheers

And it's a rare 68.

Rare as hens teeth. And also more than likely low mileage. It's a credit to Andrew oops Aspro/Rainman.

Shame we aren't having a concourse this year, I'm sure he would have taken out, most original 68, especially when the judge (show bags) realises how rare it is,

What do you think Aspro  :rain:
