Victorian Hot Rod Show static display – Monday 27th January:

MOCA Vic has been invited to put on a general display on Monday 27th January. Vehicles will need to go on display from 8.00am to 9.00am only and can't be moved until after 4pm. The cost to enter the event is $15.00 for the driver only and an additional $10.00 for the vehicle to be judged in either the Restored/Original or Modified judged categories were prizes can be won.  An entry form must be completed & submitted to attend this event.  The club has this received a special invitation to attend this large event, were you can view some of best Hot Rods, Customs and Modified vehicles within Victorian.

There are still a few places available to those wanting to attend this event.  In addition, we are also looking for some volunteers for the Raffle car which will be in attendence all weekend.

Adam, thanks for the effort you put into trying to organise this display. It was a prime opportunity to showcase our club and considering the number of members it was a huge disappointment to arrive and find not 50 cars as expected, not even 15 that had indicated to you that they would be available, but only 6 mustangs to fill an area which could easily cater for 60 to 70 cars.

Due to the lack of numbers, the show organisers cancelled the display but still provided the cars with parking within the grounds.

I will be surprised if the show organisers consider this again in the future.
