which primer to use on plastic.

Hi all
im ready to primer the bonnet scoop on a 69 mach 1 just wondering which primer to use as its some sort of plastic.rest of cars all in 2k etch primer can I use 2k primer  or do I have to use something else first. .

hi there is it made out of fiberglass or plastic, if its f/glass you will need to apply a 2k primer/filler but if its plastic you will need plastic adhesion promoter, then you can prime it . you can buy it from most auto shops in spray can form.
