hi all just got my mustang back from the metal fabrication fixed all the rust (a lot of it ) new parts quarters,tail light panel,front end etc… sharing some photos with you guys press the link hope you enjoy and see how much work went it to this car now it will be off to the painters and starting to look like a car  :grin:

hey guys now i am starting to get into the big stuff now colours ,motor etc..( the good stuff ) :bolt: (yeah right ) does any one know what colour underneath the car from factory. The car was made at metuchen (new jersey ) the would be great if you guys can help  :thumb:

Yup, it's a muddy brown colour called red oxide. In Metuchen they poured anything left over into the barrel (enginebay black, left over body colour etc, so often there's no two red/browns exactly the same.

The red/brown you can buy (or get your painter to mix) and either make it the proper red/brown (and that colour definition is...??) or add some other colours to it so it's approximately red/brown and you'll be good to go.

Remember, they slapped it on and runs/drips underneath are normal and expected.

hey guys ,

 how you all been .trying to get the mach 1 on the road just had a few hick ups but its slowly getting there ill put a few pictures soon when i get it back from the mechanics .
i have a problem and i seem i can't find it called some ppl from america they got them but they say its too big to ship here or they don't get back to me on pricing i need a pair of roof rail weather strip channel/reatiner for a 69/70 fastback do you guys know someone from australia or america that can help me i need them to finish the side door windows and quarter just seem to can't close it off (don't ask what happened to my originals long story ) :cry: it would be mostly appreciated

Thanks guys its been hard core plus i just wanted to go all out do the job properly first time and not go around and around in 6 months or a years time fixing stuff again ill give you guys some more photos of the interior soon i really love it just cant wait for the end product  :cheers:

John its been a long wait but now i can see the light at the end of the tunnel i used a guy named john from jbk his in windsor the paint job is good but theres a few defects but once its finished i am going to go back ill say 8 out of ten at the moment and thats straight off the gun  :thumb:
