Basically it is for club members, but I  will give him a special invite so he can come along. How's that?

Paul, we have seen the occasional Camaro and Corvette at our runs so a family member in a Ford - especially an XY GT - will always be welcome.  That is part of our extended family

A few of us did have discussion about inviting other clubs along but time got the better of us and it was too late for them to include the invite in their events listing.  Future breakfast runs may well have invitations extended to others as we all share a common interest through the enjoyment of our cars.

Al,

Yep, I'm doing some negotiating at home with the Boss, had a family event planned, but at the moment may have a leave pass to attend the run.

I need to lose the "candy arse" tag...., she thought it was a lame excuse to attend

not yet,  i got distracted when I failed my pink slip because of a worn ball joint in one of the upper control arms.  Now mid-way replacing both upper control arms,  and growing to hate ball joints more daily. I have a 6k mini tach coming from the states too, no doubt that'll distract me some more.

Here you go Hev

Sunday 16th March
Big Al's Mystery Breakfast Run
Today, members (and their guests) will meet at McDonalds on the WEST bound side of the M4 (ie going from Blacktown to Penrith) in time for a departure at 8.45am.  We will then be travelling to a Bar BQ location approximately 1 hour drive.  We ask you to fill the petrol tank, bring your family / friends along and include a toll pass (M7 but, we will survive without them) plus your happy mood with smiles.  We will supply bread, sausages, tea and coffee and will argue over who is Head Chef once we arrive.  There will be a Flat Fee of $10 per car to cover costs and it does not matter how many people in your car nor does it matter how much food you eat.
Contact Alan Vella 0412 235 523 after 5.00pm

Big thanks to Al, Hev, Ray, and others,

Was a terrific run down the M7 to Cataract Dam, a great morning with a about 40 odd cars attending, a really well organised and run event.

Looking forward to the next one,

If anyone has any pics, post them up.

Cheers
Keith

Also cheers to the various members of the Camaro and Firebird Club for coming along for the day, a great day was had by all  :thumb:
