Questions

Hey everyone,
Back in 2011, I got my first mustang which was a automatic 2000 v6 3.8L. It only has 47500 miles on it right now. I plan to upgrade it some. What I want to do is new paint, manual transmission, exhaust, maybe even a engine swap eventually but I have heard that it wouldn't even be worth it, so what do you guys recommend? Should I start upgrading it or just leave it the way it is? Another option I though of was just getting a second car and just keep it the way it is since its low mileage but I'm not sure if the value of it will go up or not. I just need second opinions on this. Thanks and nice to meet you all.

Buy another car with the options you want on it.  Will work out cheaper and have better resale value.  Cost of engine/gearbox conversion plus paint/exhaust...  not economically viable.

If you like your current car, enjoy it as it is.

Oh, and welcom to the forum.

You might be better off asking on a USA website, but in my opinion it is a 13 year old 6 cylinder Mustang with no real collector value and nor is it going to be worth any less if you mod it but in my opinion it is not going to go up in value either.
I would work out what I could realistically sell it for and what it is going to cost to mod it to how I would like it and then see if there is something already in that price range or even cheaper on the market, you never know you might find another year/generation you like better

Yep, don't bother spending the money as you'll never get it back..
