Where to Service / Blue Slip / Good Mechanic Sydney
« on: September 12, 2013, 04:07:09 pm »
Hi guys,

Looks like I might (after searching for a long time, finally) be getting my car soon from the US.  :evilone:

I'm in the inner west suburbs in Sydney. So when it arrives I need to take it to be get the blue slip and do a few other bits and pieces. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I should take it?

I've heard a few good things about SMS Performance in Bankstown for BlueSlip. Also i've heard some things about Queens road in Five Dock.

I'm also thinking about getting an aircon kit like Old Air so would these guys be able to fit that too?

Cheers,
Rich

If your car is pretty stock take it to SMS straight off the docks.

Feel free to start a thread on it in 'Members cars', you can link the ad, tell us who you bought from, are using to import, etc.

We love the stories and be sure to post plenty of pics.

Yeah car is stock so I'll give SMS a call and see what the usual process is. Have you had any experience with them Stephen?

If your car is stock, roadworthy and all checks out, they'll put in new headlamps and you'll have a blue slip in your hand that day.
