Hi Tim

Superb result, the car looks great!  Wishing you many happy miles although at the moment I'm surprised that you don't want to sleep in it!
Cheers Bee

Its just the sort of thing this dry drought ridden country needs is Tim to get his convertible on the road with no roof and what happens?

The sky opens and the country floods..

Behold the rain maker...!!         :pepper:

Its funny how quick kids learn to drive a car, yet fail to understand a lawnmower.

Yep you are right there, life just got in the way and the poor old stang tended to get pushed into the corner and neglected.  It was painted around 6 years ago.  I thought about selling it many times but that will never happen.  My stang is my "dream car" that i lusted after for many years.  Its part of the family now.  Now that its on the road I'll finish it off and then cruise.  Its no show pony trailer queen, just a nice cruiser.

Mate... Top work and great to see it on the road.

When can I have a drive and check it's top speed past some of your work mates. I would love to return the favour.

Also...

When you start on my Vert ???

shouldn't need much, bit of a polish and tune up.

J1

J1. thats not so bad compared to Tim's.  At least the badges look ok.   It may take 20 years or so..

J1, I see that it is only a 2 barrel Autolite (C-code).
I'm sure Tim would advise you to seriously consider a big Holley, huge cam, stroker kit, massive headers, intense head work, 9 inch, 6 pot discs at all 4 corners, minitubs, twin turbos, 6 speed auto, 20" extrawide boots, Eleanor kit, side pipes, and a nice cut and polish to finish off that patina paint job!
