Here's how the Americans do a right hand drive dash conversion - maybe they need to have a look at how shaunp does it.

Good job. Indicator stalk still on the left of the steering column. I wonder why this conversion was made over there, maybe headed to the Aus or UK market

Maybe for the wow factor ,having a rhd mustang in the usa would be a show stopper .I have seen a few aussi rhd cars over there at shows ,and the traffic stops for a look .Seen a xy gt ,xb gt ,a L J  torana ,a holden statsman , a couple of monaros  hk etc a valiant charger,a couple of holden utes hj / hx models .And quite a few english cars and other rhd countries cars .Have seen a late model commodore ute converted to lhd by using a gto / monaro left hand dash and a late model  monaro / gto converted to rhd using our rhd dash . just wow factors and it would be the same here if you saw a 1973 L J torana here LHD .

I like the look of the dash that way, the gear lever movement looks like an F100!!! :burnout:

Must admit...I didnt mind the concept of that either. If you were to build a resto mod you could brush up on that idea a fair bit

Were building a 67 US 2 door falcon up over here at the moment but going RHD and cloning it as a Ozzie XR GT

Shermatt ,i know a guy that had one 30 plus years ago here on the gold coast .He painted in gold same as the XR falcon GT ,and with all the GT gear and RHD ,looked pretty good i must say .There a few in aust that have been made up to look like XR and XT GTs .I have seen one painted zercon green and a candy apple one .

It might be as the guy say's, have been built for a customer and video posted for him to see (also say's he likes it that much he might do one for himself)...... have never seen a dash like that before looks good though......
It is far easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission

Here's the walk-around video.
Looks like a pretty nice car but I'm still not sure about the dash though, or what they've done to that roof line...

Must admit I didn't notice the change in the roof line at first watch - don't know why you would muck around with that when the 67/68 coupe shape is perfect as it is.  :bolt:

It's ugly and it's a '68 not a '67. look at the side scoops behind the doors.

Its a 67 not 68 ,by the inside door handles and rear guards ,but the seat trim looks like 68 .

You can't put '68 side scoop trims on a 67 but you can put 67 door handles on a '68. look at the walk around vid... the side scoops are '68 and they can't be faked.

Maybe its a 68 with the right side scoops ,then 67 rear guards/1/4s ,and 67 doors ,with a wild gear change like a truck ..Who cares its pretty cool having a RHD mustang in the usa .

Its probably just a combination of what was available and what they wanted..
They look like standard 69 bucket seats, that would explain the thing that looks to be a lever that unlocks the seat-back..

Standard '68 seats had the locking lever, too. It was the year they were introduced. The standard '68 and '69 seats were more or less the same to look at, as well, or at least they look the same in the Mustang recognition guide.

Glenn70, mine's a bit different, it's a pale grey cover with like a whole montage of pictures on it. Also my 68 owners guide mentions the seat back latches as well.
