I know its not often you get to read a thread like this but I must say (for me)...it was fantastic Lee.

I allways try to keep up with everyones build threads by using the todays post button but if I miss 2-3 days of being online, I seem to miss them and with so many forums...its just hard to keep up.

Kerry and the team have done an awesome job mate and from the pics...even though it only took roughly an hour to read and probably 4-15 hours for you to write it and post it...I can see the HOURS involved in every photo.

There's a lot of hours, blood sweat and tears (as you'd say) in some of those photos that only you and anyone that has ever built one to this calibre that can ever TRULY understand

Kerry, hats off mate...great job

Lee, your patience through out this (to me)...is outstanding....That is the reason you have a nice car and you gave K-Mac the time he needed to get it done right

I cant wait to see more....even better...would love to see it in person...isnt the next round up in WA in 2013?

Might bring K OTIC over for a spin

Matt

A terrific read, a credit to you all and such a nice couple too.  It is a shame you are taking the lady to WA but I guess that is home.

Some pics from Merrylands ...

Sorry they are not close up shots but maybe tells part of the story.....

I just spent an the whole morning (after waking up at sparrows fart) reading through this thread.
I was glued.

This "story", I must say would fall in the category I once heard.............. "You could sell that"

Congrats Lee and all involved in the car build.

It's the way the pin stripe has been done around the hood and cowl of the car, that really makes it in those pics, I think. Thoughts, Lee..?!

Totally agree mate, the car would be quite substandard without such a work of art on the hood

Cheers for the comments lads

Congrats to Lee, for his achievement at the WA Nationals with Q. He scored a silver in original class, which is amazing, considering he has driven it 1700 miles, and has the incorrect wheels and tyres on it (in respect to what it had new, so fairly sizable points deduction for that). He cleaned it up and presented it for judging on the day and would have only missed gold by a whisker, I would suggest.

Well done to you and Bec. There are some pics of it on my website as a bit of a tribute to them for having a great car and being great people.

Thanks Sean, your old mans hard work and you passing on your tiny bit of knowledge of 69 mustangs really made the difference
I made sure my number plates had "69" in them so you knew what model year you were looking at  :kickass:

The judges did a great job and we are very happy with the result. It was a great event that the crew put on and I think everyone really enjoyed themselves.
