You have got to love that can do spirit, something we had here once too!

And to think we let a company with this pedigree/capability leave our shores with barely a comment from our leaders............shameful really.

Good video! But don't get too carried away, because Henry Ford was not interested in any Government contract of any kind, until it was discovered that Henry had signed a contract to build aircraft for the Luftwaffe. He was forced to abandon that contract and build licence-built Consolidated B24 Liberators, Jeeps and Packard-Rolls Royce Merlin fighter engines.
Cheers, Ron B

One built every 55 minutes with over 1.2 million parts in each is pretty impressive

Skip, I fully agree, mate. Those movies were made by Uncle Sam to boost public morale, and boost public investment in war production, but all the companies involved switched from cars and fridges to aircraft, machine guns and submarines virtually overnight. An amazing feat for an entire nation's manufacturing capability, indeed. (Sorry, WW2 history is a fave hobby of mine  :thumb: )
