The stuff shown in the link is sort of a one-size-fits-all cheap aftermarket product. Here is a 600 cfm 4100 that was originally on a 65 T-Bird that I went through, put a kit  in, etc, last week, along with the seats that I removed from it and replaced. They had the little filter thingies sticking out of them, but I put those in the new seats, which were essentially identical to these. The kit that I used on this one was Walker and it had the number 15255. I don't know if Walker is available where you are, but, it is a decent kit that has most of the stuff that you'll need. No kit includes the vacuum diaphragm for the secondaries, that has to be purchased separately, but, other than that, it's complete and reasonably good stuff. The Motorcraft kit for those is still available and normally runs something in the $50 U.S. range. The float damper spring that goes on the primary side is still readily available and costs about 3 dollars.   :smile01:

Oops. Wrong carb. The carb that I posted the picture of is actually for a 65 Galaxie with a 352. The 65 T-Bird carb was behind it on the shelf.  They start looking the same after a while.  :smile01:

Thanks Veronica.
Since my last post, I've sent an email to a mob in the US who sell a kit with a similar looking seat. They also sell the primary float spring but not separately. I've asked them if they can sell & ship just the parts I need. I've also sent them a photo of my two different seats in hope that they've come across this before. Let's see if I get a response.

BTW, my rebuild kit was reasonably comprehensive & did include both the sec diaphragm & plastic arm.

Evan.

Autolite 4100 Update:
With Veronica's advice, I ordered what appears to be a Walker rebuild kit from the US. I haven't received it yet but pics suggest it includes the correct seats with the hex head. I also managed to score a nice 4100 locally at a great price on ebay. I've swapped the correct needles & seats & near new floats from that carb to my own. I plumbed in my adjustable pressure regulator & gauge & dialled up 4 PSI. I can now confirm that the hype about the 4100 is all true. This 49 year old carb runs smooth as silk with plenty of punch.

It isn't really hype. The 4100 is a great carb. Simple, great throttle response, smooth across the entire RPM range, and, they also get better fuel economy than a similarly sized Edelbrock or Holley, even though the same car will be a little quicker with the 4100 than it would be with the Edelbrock or Holley. And, if the car is started on a fairly regular basis, and you don't run garbage fuel through it, you won't have to touch that carb again for years.  :smile01:

The Walker kit number is 15255 and is readily available at any major auto parts chain store. Personally, I go to O'Reilly's, but, they aren't completely nationwide. If you could tell me which town you are in, I would be happy to find a place that has them for you.  :smile01:

You are in luck.  :smile01: There's an O'Reilly's Auto Parts store in Duluth. Just get on U.S. 2-E and go until you are almost in Duluth, then get onto MN 194 E for about 14 miles. The address is 103-07 W Central Entrance
Duluth, MN and their phone number is 218-722-6338. And, they are showing that they have the 15255 kit at that store for $18.99. Just tell them that you have a 64 Galaxie with a 352 4bbl, and you can be back at the cabin in no time. Well, almost no time. It's about 150 miles.  :smile01:

While you are in Town Mert, grab a copy of the Wrong Turn DVD's to watch back in your cabin in the woods  :lmao:
