Jaythefordman. Message me when your in town mate. Have look & we can go for a drive.

Will do!  Thanks

On topic - Another option is to build your own pipes.  You can buy in kit form, just need a drop saw, grinder, and MIG and some time and you are set.  Despite never having done a set before, I managed to put together the 4 to 1 pipes for the Cleveland/Capri swap I did many moons ago.  Did the job well.  Only cost me $150  :thumb:

Bit more room in a Capri, than any of the Mustangs, but your right. But being so tight in the bay of a 65-66, I wouldn't want to have a crack myself.

Indeed, though its crazy tight around the steering shaft.  65/66 will be a challenge for sure, but not a monster.

Got my Hedman Husler pipes on friday.... 85008...hpc coated... engine not done yet but they look killer...see how we go.....
Dunitrite66. You should be able to get better traction than a bigger cube motor because your torque should be more usable. I run slide a link bars with sub frame connectors. Your caltracks should be equal if not better. I dont like your chances of getting a set of headers in the next 2 weeks. Ask around as you should be able to borrow a set for your dyno session. What fuel pump or system are you using? What gearbox do you have (sorry if you already told us)?

Jaythefordman: The 427 fits but takes patience. If you were in WA you could come for a ride in mine to give you some idea what these things go like.

Now for posting photo's. Keeps saying file is to big

Shame I don't have a second set of pipes to test on dyno just to see If the stepped pipe work does actually do anything.
