Heres a little trick for those pi55y bonnet pin wires that are always curly when you get em
Screw one end into some wood and pull them tight by putting another screw at the other end…then wack a heat gun over them from a distance reheating the plastic coating. Let it sit for about 20 minutes then undo one of the screws and pull them tighter. Wack the gun over them again and leave them over night. By morning you have perfectly straight hood pin wires

Macka, this is all I have atm mate

It was a quick shake down run that ended up being most of the day and Sheri was dikken around with the camera and took this as I was flexin it around a corner. (Even with a green light I was still lookin for the Five'O) Wish she pointed it to the back of the car....left the lady on the left in a guts full of smoke. The car frys up very easily

The dash is still loosly fit in the video as we had to pull it apart to fix a wiring issue the day before, need to get that pulled tight again. You can hear the valves in the video....a little to much boost a few hours earlier must of blew the left hand side exhaust gasket....thats gonna be a fun fix

Flexin the golden goose Shakedown run

"overall' build time was Aug 9 untill 27th Nov. We finished assembling it in daytona at the turkey rod run actually at the show...happened with ute the year before aswell...finshed that 3 hours before the photoshoot aswell.

Dont get me wrong...I still have bucket loads to do to it but I need to get some other cars sorted before I tackle those little things...they can wait untill next month

Think Im going to take it for a spin today as weve considered selling it and just may do that yet. Looking at a house back in Adelaide.

I have an import approval for the car but would be a bit a messing around to register in Oz. Were a little up in teh air at the moment. Send it to Jesper in WA next month or sell it.....have to make our minds up quick

Macka, if we take it out today...i will get some video for ya  :thumb:

Been a while since I updated this thread and today was the first day I could get near K OTIC to finish a few things but got stuff all done

Had to load it up for the Silver Springs ALL FORD car show tomorrow (over 4000 cars...very big and awesome show) but before I loaded her up I thought Id have a bit of a skid for macka so he could have his video

K OTIC. The 1200Hp Golden Goose. 1965 Shelby GTK-950R Twin turbo

Also got some pics from the photo shoot for the mustang magazine over here. I can t post them all but heres a sneaky

Today also marks the day that Sheri SOLD her Shelby (2010 converts)...so shes a bit down today buyt its for a better cause. We have also decided (depending on our plans)...that after K OTIC has had a few rounds at some local car shows and weve had a bit of enjoyment out of the build, that she will be for sale, The price tag will knock you on your arse but open to offers.

Have a great weekend guys

Matt
