Coke and Lift cans amongst other crap found in these dodgy repaired areas.

The most handiest of tools, my digger, scraper and sometimes even a screwdriver. Should get a mention on my "thanks goes to" when it's all done!!

Pretty tidy seats considering they are 47 yo. Though being a Trimmer by trade means they wont stay this way for long. Thinking a nice tan leather would compliment the Raven Black exterior and highlighted parts on the interior

Amazingly only 5 wires make there way from the front to the back. I will have to think long and hard about the wiring to be installed, as the battery will make it's way to the back and there will be a decent stereo being installed. Points of focus being audio and power should never run together, to cross at 45degrees at best.
Cheers,
Hugh.

Pulled front and rear windows out, chucked the front window as the window wipers had been run over it without blades and scratched the crap out of it. Back window got washed several times, windexed just a few and once it looked new again, got wrapped up in plastic and stored.

Then came possibly the most prickly job yet....... removing the back quarter windows. I do like figuring things out myself and take a lot of pride in doing so, but come on, really!!!! Easier the second time.
Tip....... undo every bolt you can find with the window up, wind it down and do the same. Pull out the mechanism. Pull out the bump stops and run the wheel guide out the bottom of the runner, lift the window up while rotating the boomerang shaped arm till able to remove........ Or just get someone else to do it!!!

And once out the quarter windows got the same treatment..... acid on the runner and washed off, thorough clean with soapy water and windex not degreaser as the rubbers are still good, polished all chrome. Once looking new again, a good coating of armoural, actually heaps of armoural wrapped with the window in plastic and stored.

Next job is to pull apart the doors, removing the mechanisms and glass, cleaning and checking on their condition. Think the RHS door will find the bin at this point as it does have some rust, to what extent I'm not sure just yet, however the drivers door is sweet and will make it to the next round........ Blasting.

Starting to get some decent parts off the car that can go for blasting shortly, I'd like to have everything removable off the car in the next week or so, go get blasted and then to the panel shop for work to start asap.

I'll either fab a rotisserie or buy one locally, so I can pull the driveline out. I'm not going to do spend to much time and money on this standard driveline combination, rather just smarten it up and paint what I can with chip proof paint. This is because eventually I'd like to install a crate Coyote supercharged 5.0 lt and it's box. At 120 kg it's the best power to weight around, and looks shit hot!

More soon......
Cheers,
Hugh.

Back to the bonnet.... Anyone know where to find one like this?

Yep - in the ACT, a guy was making something similar with the twin 67 shelby scoop (very close to the pic of that black fastback) onto a 65-6 bonnet.

Thats it...... I think with the scoop vents further forward about 6 or so inches is my ideal. But I'm happy with this one. Any ideas on suppliers in WA or OZ?

Came across this site and found some great products and ideas. These mini tubs look great and are much closer to the original look. Not that I'm against the tough look of some of the mini tubs I've found so far, but these definitely better suit my idea of where the cars going.
