have seen these engines on ebay 347 stroker
just wondering if anyone has any opinions and/or advice on bringing this engine in they sent me an email back saying freight to bris would be $500 . Im guessing there is a GST ontop of this but unsure on and any duty payable?
cheers

There won't be any duty due to a free trade agreement between the USA and Oz. Just GST on the landed cost here.

Not to interfere mate, just be careful with "ebay engines". Ive heard alot of horror stories if its not a well known builder. Perhaps google them first. Good luck

Rhys.

There was a 347 short block for sale on here a few days back - seller is George - username = dunrite.

Check it out - I have heard bad stories about imported engines lately.

$4.7K seems a bit cheap for a quality 347.

Cheers,
Frank.

I reckon i could spend more than that on heads/rockers,  intake manifold and carby,  if the missus didn;t catch me :smile01:
