Looks like a lot of fun, you should try and fit Bowdens in as well as it looks like it would work. They have an open day on Sep 28th and are just North of Brisbane, you would need to be booked in though.

They probably messed up on the date which was on the website.
When I called to confirm the date, they told me the date should be September 30th.
And now they have changed it to Oktober 28th :shrug:
I'm glad I didn't buy a $ 195 bucket yet to get the tickets for the open day.

The route I plan to take:
September 24 - Cairns
September 30 - Brisbane
- Sydney
Oktober 5-7 - Bathurst Bathurst 1000
Oktober 9 - Broken Hill Flying Doctors / Mad Max
- Adelaide visit Tony, who has 3 Saleen PJ's
Oktober 21 - Melbourne Mustang Roundup + Mad Max sites
Oktober 27 - Sydney Chrome Fest (is this any good ?)

If I have enough time in Adelaide I might fly to Uluru.

What?! You're not heading over to the West Coast?
Just kidding, looks like a great trip you've planned. Enjoy.

Choices, choices.
I would probably need a year to travel Australia, but I'm happy for now, to have 6 weeks of work.

Please check out This Topic if you want to join me on the tour at the Aussie Muscle Car Museum near Brisbane Qld on Satherday 29 September.

I would be great to meet up with some Mustangs owners and their cars.

Also, consider dropping in to see Blackthunder who is in Adelaide - he has a bunch of '70 cars - 4 x 428CJ's, a 428SCJ and a 427SOHC Mach1. Is your Twister Special a 428 or a 351 car?

Post some pics??
Black '69 CJ 4SPD car under construction (425/504)
Black 2002 SVT Cobra - 2003 Terminator Clone (575rwhp/716rwtq - SOLD)
Black ‘63.5 Galaxie 4SPD fastback (just you wait...)

Jiffy
A visit to Tony (who has 2 PJ's and an Extreme) in Adelaide is on the agenda.
I'd love to see some more mustangs, and the collection of cars you mention above would be awsome.

Sadly the Twister is a replica, but the 1970 Mach1 is original Grabber Orange, 351C-4V, and original Shaker.
More info on the Twister: www.dutch-twister.nl (needs updating)
