My 68 Red convertible
« on: February 23, 2012, 07:13:52 pm »
After about 12 months of looking here and the US I finally got this . Imported in 2010. Full Restored in the US  not too long ago. T code. 3 speed replaced by an Auto. I replaced the steering wheel. Everything is original and works perfectly. Not a show car but looks and drives beautifully. Cant stop smiling

69 cap I believe. Have to fix. that.

Grill is part 68, part 67. Build date was march. Not sure if they used 67 parts on the early 68s.

POORPIGI.... Very nice in deed -- OK well l am a bit bias !!

Looks like we almost have a pigeon pair, where are you in Brisbane.

Funny thing is ....I got a call from one of my customers the other day and he told me that he saw me down the Gold Coast a week or so ago and waved,  but I just drove past and igniored him .........l'm guessing it may in fact have been yourself and he forgot that mine had the c stripes on it ?

It does look like it.  Im at Underwood. U2U me for my contact. I would love to get them together..

Thats funny. Yeah. I was down the coast last week looking at the 3.5 mil prize home that I am going to win.
You must be a good looking roster if he mistook me for you.  Half the world waves at you when you cruise in the convertible as you would know. I normally wave back, Must have have missed him. Say sorry for being rude for me next time you see him/her.

Yeah. Was a bit worried until my mechanic looked it over. Has had the diff, motor, gearbox overhauled, new starter motor, alt.radiator etc, pertronix dissy, Nice paint job but not perfect. No rust. all strait and drives beautiful. T code but sits on 70MPH all day.
Photo from the US. Love the garage..

Very nice Vey nice. I also like the T code. Its all about crusin I think.... Thats the grille I have to have. I have the outside ring of the 68. The grille seems original as the whole grille appears to be the same age. Was wondering if they put part of the 67 grille on the early 68s.

What a beautiful ride. You must be one happy Mustangee.   Hope to get mine back from the car doctor looking similar to that - 'cept it's a 66.
If it's worth owning, it's had a song written about it.
