Hume Hwy blues

just remembered as i was driving down hume hwy about 5pm last saturday to a gig in Bowral (1.5hrs sth of sydney) i saw a white 66 coupe pulled over in the breakdown lane with the owner and his bride looking perplexed.
i so wanted to stop and help but was cutting it very fine to make the gig, then literally 1-2 kms further a very tidy FC holden with not too happy husband and wife was broken down also.
what the hell is going on with the hume hwy??
anyone know who the 66 owner is and what the trouble was?

unsportsman like behaviour with mitigating circumstances....
i had a bride & groom at the winery gig waiting to be played on and the rest of the band sweating bullets that the bass player would show up...
pullover for mustang?
gig ontime!
pullover for mustang?....
that was the conversation i was having with myself
