We have decided to make this event a fund raiser for cancer! We all meet at Gatekers bay (HERVEY BAY QUEENSLAND) boat ramp car park after lunch at 1.30pm on the 19th of November!!. Then about 2pm ish we all jump into our beasts and cruise the entire esplanade to the Urangan pier and do a loop onto Elisabeth street and then back onto the Esplanade, and then work our way back to the sea front oval where we will all park up for a casual show 'n' shine. This is where we make our donation to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation! Unfortunately Cancer is a disease that does not discriminate. It affects young and old. Your generous support will assist the foundation with its research in finding new and effective treatments for cancer. After a couple of hours we will move out to a disclosed after PARTY where there is camping grounds, mini show 'n' shine, bon fires, sausage sizzle bbq, pool table, and a massive projection screen with the day's event showing and also drag racing and crazy car stuff showing all night long and of course a Jukebox with wicked tunes and pumping beats playing on threw the night!! All proceeds from the sausage sizzle will go to The Cancer Research Foundation donation tin as well!! So come and join us on the next big car event on the Frazer Coast!! We just got news that a local snapon franciser wants to bring along his 1976 lx torana hatchback and has also offered to give either a free snapon seat cover or snapon tee shirt etc.. to the highest donator.

Only 2 sleeps to go!! I'm getting receipts so we can keep track of who donates the most money and claim the prize thanks to snap-on tools! Also you guys can claim your donation on tax if you keep your receipt!

We also have a Mustang trailered to the show and shine at the Sea Front Oval!! This is shaping up to be an awesome event!

We will be selling drinks (soft drinks and water) for $1 and having a susage sizzel for $1 per susage! We will have a susage sizzel at the sea front oval and also at the after party!!!! Bargin!!!

One of the great things about this cruise it was for all vehicals, here are the 4X4 and ute's!

G'day Josh, love the time and effort you have put into this and the fact that it is helping out the cancer research foundation, but this is a Mustang forum.

I like others, always like to know where the next cruise or show is, but when you have a slow internet connection and see only one Stang in a long thread of pictures, you begin to wonder what forum your actually on.

I'd expect to see this kind of thread on Aussie V8 Forum or Australian Ford Forums, Xfalcon etc...

Don't get me wrong, I love your XD and have followed your build on other forums and have had 4 XD's myself, but at the end of the day this is a Mustang Forum.

Thanks J1 it was a huge effort to get this cruise 'n' shine up and running! So sorry about the long thread of pics i must remember to break up my posts a bit more. I understand that this is a Mustang forum hence why i was trying to get more Mustangs involved in this fantastic event! I hope i wasnt a bother to anyone here as i was just trying to display how the event went. I promise in future that i will keep my event threads short and sweet and only display the Stangs! We only had one Mustang on our Cruise which was a little disapointing but boss 427 got the date wrong so unfortunatly we missed out on see his display which was a huge bummer!

here are the pics of the 1 Mustang that attended our event.. Cheers so much and sorry once again.
