Nice work Doc Dashboard.

Wish I could be back with my cars, :soap: over work at the moment.

Have just started touching one of the motors up here at the moment, how's long has that been since I left - to long.

I'm trying to start a room just like you now.

Did you end up putting rear seatbelts in the mildly cammed car of yours ???

Paint work looks great, what product are you using ???

Thank you everyone,

I appreciate the comments posted, at least the Fastback minor resto is keeping the mind active!

J1, just using standard spray units supplied by a local paint mob in Sunshine, they matched the Rangoon red almost perfect as you can see by the inner / outer of the drivers door.
Yes, belts will be fitted..everything already prepared..Kerry helped with some photo's so that is done, just haven't installed as yet.

As you know, the finish is really in the preparation so I have been taking my time & you know how I like to do things right first time, if not ...you rub it back and start over!

I think the challenge will be the dash board, lots of masking to be done...

More updates to follow, chat soon... Doc :burnout:

Masking won't take to long, crikey I can't even remember when I did mine.

Here's an idea of how I did it.

Guy's,

Needing some advice, Thirsty & I installed new door rubber seals tonight.
Fitted well no hassles their but I'm guessing I know need to re-align the doors as they are not closing well.

I've played with the striker but feel I'm missing something.

The gap at front of door & front fender looks good but as you close the door it feels something is jarring towards the front hinge. Too close you have to slam..
Once closed the door lines don't look even & the door towards the striker end won't sit flush.
Would appreciate any feedback & suggestions.

Can't believe how long its been since posting here.
Photo link on first page has been updated since last time.
Basically now putting the FB back together, still aiming for Roundup '11 and this will be her first outing in 5 months...way too long!

Sorted out the door seals, Thanks Blkpny!
