Thanks a lot fellas.

We are back home in Adelaide now and the car is safely tucked away.

We had a sensational time over in Victoria. Everybody we met made us feel very welcome and comfortable. I am talking about both South Australian and Victorian Mustang folk. This was our first encounter with the Mustang fraternity and it was all an absolute pleasure.

Wanted to catch up with Caretaker65 and check out all the work he has completed on the Fastback. He did a great job. Here are a few pics -

Wife was complaining that i have plenty of photos of the Grande, but none with her in them. Here you go wife -

Took a couple of shots of cars, but could not take enough to do them all justice. Their were just so many superb cars on show -

The trip back today was very enjoyable. Not much rain thankfully. Tried to get a shot of the Dakota Digital Dash while on the go - but it was a bit dangerous. This is the best i could do - The speed reading in the sunspot area is actually 106klm/hr at 2,570RPM. Happy with that, but the addition of a Gear Vendors Overdrive will drop the revs down to about 1,700 i hope. With the intended TCP rack and pinion maybe i would be able to get a better shot.

Stopped for a bit of a chin wag at Keith and took a couple of photos. One with Dale and Mary showing their award -

Thanks again for all the hospitality. Planning a couple more refinements for the Grande to make it a great country cruiser so that we can meet up again.

Rocket.

Rocket we sat back behind the Tonkins in their VW Polo for mile after mile, or what seemed like hour after hour...sometimes probably almost a kilometer or so back from you guys.........then I got the urge ( had the Need for Speed ) so zoomed up behind you like a bat out hell............was good to get the thumbs up from you & cruise into Keith all together.

Oh Yeah...... That was a memorable moment!

I watched the nose of your car rise as you sunk the boot into it. Your car sure has rapid acceleration at speed. A beautiful sight indeed.:burnout:

Well done!

Hi Rocket,

Good to hear all your convey made it home without any hassles.
It was terrific to meet you all & hopefully see you all again next year.

Thank you for you kind words expressed above regarding the effort put into the Fastback.
You know I brought her home Sunday, parked in the garage & haven't gone back to her since...just need some non-mustang time to myself..

Couple more bugs to fix & need to install the console.

Thanks again.

Hi Geoff, We sure will be back next year. Would love to sit around and have a few relaxed Ales with you guys.

Your time out from the Fastback is well earned. Time for you to recharge those batteries and relax for a bit.

Regards.

Rod.
