Have not posted a lot since returning from Newcastle as we have been busy on other projects.
The Red Mach1 is now all finished and tucked away - not bringing it out in the current wet weather.
Here are some projects underway in the car workshop. First pic is a Variety Bash car that we are preparing for a local business it is a ZD? Fairlane. Our brief was to strip the old layers of paint ( it had about 10 layers ), cut out all the rust and weld patches in, then respray the car - with the proviso that we did not do too good a job. They want the car to still look like a bash car ie leave some of the smaller old dents and go easy on the spray putty! Here it is -
They started to fit some signage to it yesterday. I hope they absolutely plaster the car with them!
Work is also underway on the restoration of a 78 XC V8 Falcon ute. After taking it back to bare metal we did not find much rust. The car will be painted in Cobra colours, which are white with blue LeMans type stripes. Should look good when completed -
Mick has almost completed the body repairs to Angelo`s Grande. Should be able to spray primer tomorrow, then Hi Build on Monday -
It will be looking good real soon Angelo.
