I deleted my thread after thinking about it but not soon enough. Didnt mean to upset or incite anyone. Was not my intention. For the record there are good and bad in all groups. We all know that.

It has been a long time but my Mustang (Back from the dead) is now firing on all 8. After nearly two years I am now feeling a lot more confident to tell you I plan on painting my 67 Vert Acapulco Blue with a black trim If you are still interested after all this time. I am using a black trim because my friend Bob has a blue 67 Vert with a white trim.
1967 Mustang Convertible with fries and the works, hold the rust, no timber thank you, go easy on the Bondo and I'll have that in Right Hand Drive please.

What is the original colour of the car? Would blue interior be to much.

I ended up with Acapulco Blue D, it was used on the earlier vintage and is in contrast to the Acapulco Blue formula change that took place later,

The original color was Springtime Yellow. Blue interior probably would have worked, over the coming years I'll start to collect Blue interior parts for a future color change.
