Finally getting the new rack&pinion from RRS installed in the 73 fb, hopefully from now on i wont need arms like popeye to steer her!! :smile01:

Is it my eye sight or the camera angle? The drivers side looks a lot lower than the other side. If so it could cause a lot of trouble with your steering geometry.

Don't drink so much boss427 !!! :drink:   Looks like the crossmember has been hammered on the right side.

How come then the rack is not parralel with the cross member taking into acount the sledge hammer modification? (and 5 JB's)
The right hand will bumpsteer every where. Look at second photo.

My 2 'bobs' worth...

Looking at the 2nd image, if you were to 'eyeball' the front of the castor bars (close to the washer...) and measure up from them, the steering rack positioning looks to be parallel.

It's an optical illusion caused by the curving of the fluid lines and a slightly out of line x-member IMO.

Like Trans Am says, if you measure up from the castor bars on the picture it's almost perfect.
