Well,i thought i might post some pics and get this thread going again.Whats that, about time you say
..oh well you know how it is, bit slack..Also in my haste i posted it in Restomods, where as thread should be in the members cars section as its not a restomod obviously..
..so anyone know how to get it moved? Hey Rod,you had a shed full of Mack 1's the other day i see..
.. Back to progress I went to install the radio i got from Jeremy and realised that i needed a radio support bracket..This has happend a bit throughout progress as i went to install something and realised i needed a minor part before i could proceed.Installing all the chrome was a bit hairy on my own.The small c shape molding that sits at the base of the drip rail were a pain in the butt as there was to much metal behind it to sit flush so had to hone out a bit and when you start to do that sort of thing it can go pretty wrong pretty quick but finally got it to sit right.I then installed all the door locks and mechanisms etc without to much drama.I then moved onto the door glass and 1/4 window installation.I did get some help with the door glass, then fiddled with adjustments for a while.Just waiting for a R/H window bracket to finish all that of.Next i installed the weather stripping around the door opening and trunk, pretty straight forward there.I moved onto the wiring. With a new headlight harness i got from Jeremy i went ahead and installed it pretty easily.Next was the under dash.It took a bit of working out and everything works.I did have a problem with an ignition wire that some how got labeled with something else at stripdown. So I double checked everything thrice before realising whats going on, but all good now.As it stands now i would like to get the exhaust fitted so atleast i can start it up.From there I need the headliner installed, windsheild fitted and also put the rest of the interior in ..Then its bumpers fuel lines, brakes wheels and Regency Pk inspection.
