I guess they were asking  whether you are going to use Acrylic Lacquer or 2 Pak paint.

Acrylic Lacquer would be cheaper and also a whole lot easier to paint.

2Pak - Clear over Basecoat would give you a better finish - but is harder to paint for the inexperienced, and  also can be quite dangerous to use without a spray booth, protective coveralls and good quality respirator.

There are also several types of 2Pak you can choose from.

I personally used to use only Acrylic Lacquer when painting in my home garage.

But you must make the call on what you want. This is where a chat with Andy may help. He is a 2Pak man, but will be able to give you some pertinent advice.

Not sure about the interior paint you are looking for. May have another paint shop for you to check out.

Edit - Have found the details of another paint supplier. These people were recommended to Forum Member MJB0015 ( Mark ) when he was looking for paint for his Mach1 interior.
They are - Complete Coating Solutions at 7 Duncan Rd Dry Creek. Ph 82624414. ( they are Protec Dealers too )

Gretschem, You pulled up a very old Thread. Glad you did! :thumb: You see, Angelos Grande was painted about a year ago.

Sorry for the mix up guys. This thread sort of stopped here and blended into Rods thread, re.Time for an update.Mainly because it was painted at his workshop and i was happy for Rod to post progress pics there .As it stands now,all electrical is installed, motor cranks but needs exhaust plus bits and pieces to start. To get it on the road it will basically require brakes, diff centre and a nice set of wheels..... before i :bolt: :burnout: :pepper:

Im looking forward to seeing ur car on the road Angelo.
I remember u sending me a u2u which had some sound advice, when I first started my project .
Ive also looked at the before and after of ur car at Rods workshop.
Hoping u get it on the road for the next cruising season and to catch up in person.

I can smell oranges !
