G'day,
I just had my engine rebuilt by mob recommended to me. He's been doing this for 40 years. He likes the EngineTech rebuild kits (4 bbl .30 kit) for stock motors. He balanced the crankshaft within 2 grams at either end: the balancer and flywheel, installed new pistions, rings, .30 bore, lifters, bearings, harded valve seats, new springs, valves, double camchain sprockets, etc. I had a stage 2 camshaft fitted but everything else to built to stock for reliability. I've got about 100 kms on it so far, so there's plenty to go until it has run in.

Ya-I'm wrapped about the deal. It's not just the price but also the care for the car, too. He was a referral from a Mustang parts reseller who does her rebuilds. Sometimes you get some good tips if you speak with the right folks.

My post was edited so maybe I'm not allowed to give an endorsement for the blokes who built my engine? :violin:
Is it possible to post pictures, I don't see how to do this, or maybe I'm missing something?
