Windsor mechanical timing cover, fuel pump cam
« on: November 12, 2013, 09:39:50 am »
Hello.
I have a EB 302, wanting to convert it over to mechanical fuel pump and standard rotation water pump
Anyone have a spare cover or want to swap over to a reverse water pump and cover?
Please call 0419556158 or PM me here.

Thanks Richard

Richard, I just buy a new one. They are around $100. You might be able to pick up a ok low Km one but they are over 30 yo. They are prone to corrosion. If they fail, you are looking at water & oil coming together. There is only 1mm separating them. For peace of mind I would get a new one and new bolts too. Cheap insurance. The fuel pump cam may prove tricky to find but they are out there.
He, with the most toys wins.

Thanks, yes found a few on eBay about that price with seals and stuff.
Just need a concentric cam from somewhere.
Going for a March 6 rib water pump pulley so I can keep the standard crank and alt pulley.

Why not just run an electric fuel pump (low pressure) that way you don't need to change the cam.

Just my 0.02c worth
