What are Eminger Invoices.

They are the second page of the origional FOMOCO Invoice that had to be signed for on delivery of the vehicle as it left the factory.

As these are Origional Paperwork, they can only be obtained once if they have not been claimed in the past.

Named after a wonderful lady that worked for Ford from the mid 40's to the 70's.

She discovered that Ford were destroying these invoices and realising this was History, convinced management to let her preserve and distribute them to owners.

Unfortunately, most pre 1969 Mustang Invoices had allready been destroyed.

I first met Lois in 1983 and then again in 1994 at Dearborn in Michigan.

Purchased  my first invoice from her in 1989 and had been doing so until her health stopped her doing this and all remaining invoices were taken over by Kevin Marti.

Her motivation was not Profit and she seemed to get a genuine satisfaction out of giving you a further piece of your Pride and Joy, She only charged her costs of storage and postage, after you had proved by posting her a copy of  your Title or Australian Rego as proof of ownership.

All  contact was by Handwritten letters, I don't think she had a computer then, and was not contactable by phone.
I still have all her correspondence.

In 1998 I was woken by the phone very early one morning, and even though it was years since we had last met, she was very concerned that she had seen on TV a story about the devestating floods Townsville had recieved, and asked if I was OK.

This was the attitude she had to everyone she met and in every thing she did.

Link Below was one of the many tributes to Her on Her Passing.

Origional Eminger Invoice.

This invoice does not have all the usual pricing on it as it was an Export car and was probably shipped to Ford Australia for a dealer order and converted ex factory.

I sold this 1970 Blue Mach I to someone in Northern New South Wales around 1997.

If I remember correctly It had a Strange Vin # stamped on the shock tower, no dash Vin and I had to remove the Mudguard  to find the origional vin.

If someone can provide proof of current ownership, I am only to happy to forward this on to you.

I got an Eminger invoice for my '70 Mach 1 back in 1988, which I dutifully passed onto the new owner when I sold it.

When I bought my '72 a year ago I was pretty excited about getting one for my new ride, but got an email back from Marti Auto Works saying "sorry, the report for this car is not available". Either someone had already bought it or it had been misplaced over the years, the email didn't say, but spewin' that I missed out.
:tissue:

Being able to get the Marti Report was good though.

What a coincidence, just received the December issue of Mustang Monthly and there is an feature regarding Lois Eminger and her 1971 Mach I Mustang.

Worth a Read.
