Yes me again, always hoping to pick up more parts to keep my project moving forward:sant:
Yep still looking for early 289 factory heads without smog ports. Just,,,,,missed out on a set last time I put a ad up for them here.
Note I am in melbourne so really only hoping to here from locals due to freight costs.
Looking to spend a max of $100 as that was what the last set went for I missed out on was.
Condition,,, as long as not rusty and can be rebuilt I will be happy

Why don't you just plug them and then grind them out, I've done a few. Just put a grub screw in the hole and then grind the hump out of the port. The tubes in the port just come out. Many of them have the hump in anycase but are not drilled from the top.

Have now converted the other half into doing some of the Concours washin, cleaning & polishing stuff!!!!!!!!
