We travelled up on the Thursday and came home on Sunday.
 What a FANTASTIC event this.
All sorts of cars, not just rods and quite a few mustangs.
I would thoroughly recommend this event to all. Incredibly beautiful town and the scenery is spectacular.
Weather was great and the only spoiler were the boys in blue putting some cars off the road.

Envy68 was that you that gave the wave on Sunday morning as you were coming into Bright ? I was in the black 66 coupe.

Thanks for your hospitality too Mal. Great to catch up with you again.

Here's a couple of shots we took.

Ahh sorry to hear she is not well. Let's hope for a speedy recovery :-)

The car that waved to me looked like yours and it was around 11 am. Just when I thought the guys from Melbourne would have been coming through.

Hey Envy, hope your car is all good now!:thumb:
Was it getting an "eye stretched to ear" face job, like Sam Newman did?:smile01:

Almost,... damage repair, better tyres, renew paint, LED tail lights and indicators, new brighter headlights, new rear valance with exhaust cut outs plus exhaust tips, "C" stripes.... the normal stuff

Might have to stop for awhile after this....money does not grow on trees .....yet.

Well done, I am keen to get a look at it some time!
Pretty impressive list of improvements for " just some cosmetic work".
Happy cruising!:burnout:

Hi Everyone, here's a few more photo's from the Bright Hotrod weekend.  I can confirm Blue Ovals assessment that it is a great weekend.  Literally hundreds and hundreds of great cars to see.... stationary, cruising, or at the Go to Whoa.  The cars were coming in from early in the week, and some were still to be seen around the region even as of yesterday.....

Hi Ron,

Thankyou, but  it's old hat these days..... a 5 year old digital slr is like something out of the dark ages compared to todays camera's !!  lol   It's a Canon EOS 20D, 8mp.  Todays DSLR's are more commonly 18mp and 20mp.  A camera is like any other tradesmans tool, not so important what it is, it's all in how you use it !!!!
:smile01:
I am far more at home with a camera, than I am with a screw driver or spanner....   If people asked photography questions on here, I would be a lot more useful...!!!!  :thumb:

Hows that rear suspension coming along then....?

I can see by your photos you know a bit about photography.
20mp would be close to convential film resolution wouldn't it ?

The new leaf springs and caltracs are all installed finally. Had some more problems yesterday. Ended up pulling it all apart and back again at least a dozen times :banghead:
But the good part about that is you get good at it and I can remove the springs and caltracs and reinstall them in about 1 1/2 hours now.
I have the Koni shockers on the hardest setting. I don't think this will be ideal for the road but it will for the drags. I'll give it one more go at the drags and then retire. Hopefully there's an 11.1 -11.2 there for me now.
