I am just wondering if any of the bendigo members will be travelling down to the roundup at Dandy on the Sunday morning? I'm trying to work out a family weekend away to coincide with the Roundup.

I will come down from Swan Hill on Saturday arvo and stay the night to drive to Melb in the morning. Spud.

Hi Spud.

Yep we will be.
Usually we have between 3 and 6 cars go down.
Not sure the time we're leaving but suspect it will be 7:00 - 7:30 leave from McDonalds Kangaroo Flat.

If you're interested we had the Bendigo Homestead Motel lined up for a Mustang function a while back.
Worth looking at if you're after accommodation.
The owner is a motoring enthusiast of some kind also.

Bendigo show is on that weekend so accommodation may be difficult.

I presume you are coming down the Calder?

If so can we add on your tail somewhere around Gisborne?

If I know an approx time I can park up somewhere and keep an eye out for you. Provding the weather is Ok of course

Thanks Roger, booked into a townhouse in illingworth st in golden square. has own lockup garage so feel better about that than motel. I will send you a u2u with my mobile later in week if thats ok then can talk on saturday when we get to bendigo to confirm things.

Good news .. hoping to get there BUT won't have the GT as I will be in the Yarra Valley tomorrow and may need to leave Sunday lunchtime to get back home and pick the girls from Yackandandah....

Roger, ( and others) thanks for letting us tag along on Sunday, had a great start to the day with the nice drive down. Pity had to come home earlier than you but the kids were worn out. again thanks. spud, jo, jess and mitch.
