Factory or Workspace Required

A couple of my mates and I were discussing this as a business opportunity ... that is building several small factoryettes and leasing them out as storage , workshops etc. Installing hoists , pits etc.

We figured there would be lots of guys with multiple cars, bikes , boats whatever who simply dont have the space at home to work on their cars. I am one of those guys.

We did some sums and figured the rent wouldn't cover the building costs.

Would be an interesting project I thought.

I have looked into the same idea myself over the years. Insurance is a large factor

Wouldn't it be good if we could aim for something like that as a club room.  The Jaguar club has its own rooms they have built in a factory with storage and hoist area etc.  The Chev club does the same with their own rooms and lease them back to the AOMC.

Our own club factory would certainley help some of those that need a hand and it could also make some money being a meeting room and somewhere to have a drink and bbq.
