Sunday 28th August
1968 red convertible, with top down.  MUS68? (I think S)

Yep it's a S

That would be me :hi: I'll put the lack of wave down to me wandering around in a daze as usual but if it's kisses you're after, you might be waiting a while :smile01:

Actually I was trying to work out where I was going to go, the weather was beautiful, I had a full tank of fuel and 6 hours to kill   Had a fantastic day on the road and the car went great all day.

There seems to be a few Mustangs spotted in that area, in this thread alone.

grand pde Sandringham

I've lived in Sydney my whole life, have driven around most of it and I don't recall hearing much of Sandringham.

Looking it up:

Sandringham was originally known as Strippers Point in the 1830s, from the local occupation of tree-felling and bark-stripping.

LOL

Bit of a mix up. Sandringham is a well known beachside suburb of Melbourne.

LOL I do know the area, I was a driver and would often detour from Rockdale and drive down Grand Parade and along Sandringham St to get to Caringbah.

I guess it's just one of those satellite suburbs I haven't given much thought to.

I saw a nice grey coupe 65-66 I'd say, for sale at a car yard in Sydney's west.

I can't remember the caryard but we were travelling along the highway from Seven Hills on our way to Camden and it wasn't too far away from Seven Hills station on the left hand side of the road.
