Stormin, is it a electronic speedo? If it is an electronic speedo, for EFI, but to run your factory speedo off the sender, see Frank70

just asking! has anyone seen the Dana cruise controls they fitted into the 1972 mustangs in the day? are they original?,i had to remove mine as the cable had melted on my exhaust ( did not want cruise on my mustang anyway as you want to feel every rev and drive it your self, one the days you do drive it!).all looks original even the brackets fit the curves under the bonnet so perfectly and the speedo cable comes out of the cluster into the cruise and out of the cruise and down to the transmission, has anyone seen this before?

Here is a Link
Very cool unit, worth absolutely nothing, you should sell it to me cheap :thumb:
Actually no idea on it's value, or rarity, but I'd love to have one anyway.

no mine does not use a pick up off the tail shaft like the one in the link you just gave me, it uses the speedo cable to monitor the speed of the mustang and its a cast alloy box around the size of a brake master cylinder the speedo cable comes out of the cluster into this unit then out of the unit and down to the auto into the speedo drive it then uses vacum to pull a rubber diaphram connected to the throttle linkage on the carby it really looks like it was fitted from new? the contols fit onto the stork of the indicators, my 72 grande was imported with this unit already fitted
