Now I have someone willing to ship a rear seat frame I need to find a rear seat frame :smile02:

Anyone know of a good second hand parts supplier or wrecker in the US?

I am sure that the seat frame for a convertible is a cut down version of a coupe. Anyone on here have a convert rear seat out of the car to take a pic of the frame?

I would imagine a coupe rear seat frame would be available here no worries.

thanks Kerry I have sent a few emails to US so i will see what comes back.  I read 64-68 convertible seat frames are the same.... so I will try that option and if not look at a coupe seat.  Either way its going to be a very comfortable garage chair for pontificating over the Mustang whilst having a beer:drink:

Correct, they would be very similar. Issue would be not all that common to find, that is why I suggested the seat was a cut down version of the coupe.

I know the yards that Sean (BossKraft) & I frequent, have no convertible stuff left (we already bought it all!), as I spent a few hours in each over the last few weeks. Cleaned them out of most of the useful stuff for other body styles as well.

I think the coupe version frame extends to th parcel shelf and looks square whereas the convertible seat does not, it looks thinner.... Do you have a pic?? Cheers

Heres the link, the concertible seat bases are different, but it wouldn't be too hard to make them from a coupe seat
