There is a meeting at Shannons Fyshwick at 7:30pm tonight 12/3 regarding the start of organization of this show.

just thought i would post up the topic incase someone wants to help and missed the email

Next meeting for the show is on at 7.30pm, 20 May 2010 at DataVoice premises in Hume.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  More helpers always needed.

BTW, the date for the show is 27 February 2011.  More details to come but mark that on the calendar.

Let the events organisers know as soon as it is confirmed and they will organise a group trip to Canberra.

Last one was well patronised with Sydney members but it was a pity the rain was lurking over the weekend.  Accommodation at the hotel on Northbourne Ave is quite reasonable and acceptable.

Hi Phil
Funny you should mention that hotel (the Pavilion). Have contacted them already and locked in a special rate (with underground secure parking and within stumbling distance of the Saturday night function).
We will keep everyone updated as things progress.
Hope to see as many Mustangers as we can for the weekend.

Hi all,

So what happened?

I would love to get to some of these meetings but they alway occur when I am interstate with work! (Even this is being sent from the beautiful but damn windy Thursday Island)

I would love to be involved in some way if I can?

I also had every intention of making this meeting but have been really sick. Was there something in a previous meeting about needing to liase with the national library? I actually work there, so if there's anything i can do to help in that respect I'd be happy to.

I was also planning on going, but a couple of major things happened at work that required urgent attention.  Wasn't worth heading out, as I'm sure the meeting was over by 10pm.
Looking forward to the minutes.
