I'm a vegetarian and I don't drink alcohol anymore so it's useless me turning up.

Also work now gets in the way.  Will not be attending another meeting until at least Feb 2012 and even then that will be highly unlikely.

I can live with the memories of steaks gone by and the beers that washed said steaks down.

J1, Not drinking alcohol is most likely of detriment to your health.
You would benefit enormously if you overturned your decision and partake of the Devil's amber fluid in copious quantities.
Not only that, bacon is at it's premium at the moment and when aligned with a good Union steak, the wonderous taste of nicely prepared animal flesh will serve your stomach and tastebuds, a delightful surprise.
Please reconsider your position re this situation. :+:+:+

I'm willing to help this inbalance.

I am going to order 2 steaks and have twice the amount of beers. Should even things out:(

The good Dr Dashboard contacted me today in regards to my sudden reaction to red meat and alcohol.

I'm willing to give it one more shot tomorrow night. I'm not promising anything and my attendance is still subject to my working hours.

Various high posting forum members have also informed me that red meat is fine for consumption. It's the meat with a greenish blue tinge with a hint of wet footy sock smell that should be avoided at all costs.

What a great forum this is with so many concerned members looking out for each over.

If you have a drinking problem as well, join us at the Union Htl so we can talk about it over a drink or 7 :2
