G'day all, anyone from the East side interested in meeting at the Westgate Shell westbound at 9.45am Saturday morning????? Also please let me know if you are coming along so I can have the correct tonnage of sausages organised. Looks like fine weather!!!!!!!!!

Hey Pete,

I will be there with the Mrs and the littleun.

Also, unless you want to see the sights of Werribee I suggest people take the Werribee exit after the Duncans Road Exit, then over the overpass, straight through the first round about and right at the next, then drive until you see the second aircraft hanger on your right, you have reached your destination.

If you are coming from the east on the Monash/Westgate Fwy make sure you exit with the Bolte Bridge traffic to the left of carriageway, then veer right from this traffic into Shell Servo area.:(
It's a bloody shambles there now.
Someone got paid a crap load of money to design all this and they should emigrate to Outer Mongolia North!:*

It's just a bit of a XXXXXXX lottery to get into the LHS off road to the Shell Servo!
I think the answer is to have a bazooka to persuade other road users to get out of your way when attempting this manoeuvre.:(
The rocket scientist that redesigned the roads around here needs to be XXXXed!:*

What a top day for the 24 Mustangs and heaps of people who turned up! A nice little 20 min or so cruise from Shell Westgate to the hanger at the old Werribee Airfield for a fascinating look at a blast from the past aeronautically speaking! ;_
These people/volunteers are a dedicated bunch who rely on donations from whoever to keep this project rebuild of a Liberator 24 Bomber/fighter alive. No thanks to the Government, but huge kudos to the volunteers.
Look fwd to returning at some future time to see a completed Liberator taxiing around on all 56 cylinders!;{
A really good day followed by Petes famous Snag-B-Que! Thanks to organisers! Pics emailed to club for use as they see fit.
