Darryl
To get to my place I would go via Middle rd Boronia Heights and then onto Teviot rd
for 10Ks then right into Baker rd and right again into my street,
I'll put the flags out. lol

Hang on .... I just checked Google Maps, and I'd be going an extra 40 kms to go from Mt Tamborine via Tamborine Village to Browns Plains and then back to South Maclean.

Better to meet you guys at or near the venue.

No problem, will have the MOCA flags up just tell them at the gate you are with MOCA and they will point you in the right direction

Gidday Pedro,
Your baby looks the goods, any chance of some pictures being posted up from the show at Macleans Bridge. I was reading this thread and was trying to figure out who was going. We did live down in Cedarvale for 4 years and know the area, would love to see some pony pictures from the show,

Mick

Sorry Mick, I did everything else but take the camera.
As the Show was organised by the Triumph Owners Club, British cars predominated and there were a lot of makes including some desirable cars.

A dozen or so different model Mustangs were on show and of course should have taken home the trophies, but alas, the Brits prevailed. Even Paul’s CS was ignored! However a vintage Corvette and a Porsche did sneak in under their guard and take home a trophy each.

Pedro It was good to catch up with you at the show, you car looks even better in the flesh, really is nice.
Unfortunately I didn't take any photos either, far too anoyed and pi55ed off, after rubbing past the gate post on entry.
Apparently several people asked the guys on the gate to do something about the steel bar that protuded passed the gate post as someone was sure to hit it.........and guess was what someone did ME!!....SO NOT A GOOD START TO THE DAY

THEN
When it was time for Derwin66 to leave for work the starter motor devloped a short and burnt out the wiring, and ended up towing it back to my place,

Must admit Darryl I'm liking the look of two Girls in the shed

Lets hope the next event is less eventfull

Hi guys, we took some photos of the event,

Mind you, when we got there around 10.15am, there was only about 6 or 7 mustangs up the back paddock, sorry we missed you guys. Lee I did see your car mate - think it the blue one in the pic below, is that correct, it would have been good to catch up!

We also did see a nice looking 66 red convertible from the Gold Coast which was up for sale and also Pedro’s car l think, but was talking to the two guys in the photo and asked if he went by the name of Pedro to which the reply was no, so I assume this might not have been the owner not sure anyway.

It was not a bad event, but no where near as many mustangs as we’d hope would roll up, maybe next time.

we got there about 10.15am  and left by around 11am to headed up to Mt Tamborine for the day with the misses and the kids for the markets and lunch of course!!

Lee, sorry to see what happened to the car mate.  ;x

I hope someone ended up getting up the two twits on the gate,  but I guess they were to interested in taking $5 bucks off everyone going in to care too much hey!!

Maybe we will catch up at the next event!!

Lets hope Lee it is something small,  I am guessing that my old car stopped and suddenly no electricts that it is a short in the starting system (relay maybe).  Wait and see what the sparky says.  My garage looks empty now though,

Hi Grumpy,

Yes that's my car those two guys are looking at.
The guy closest to your camera is the owner of the red vert alongside. His name is Lee and he tells me he has several Mustangs and reckons the red vert (302 auto) is a driver #1 and is asking $45k for it.

His son was also there and had a really nice red '57 Chev resto parked over near the rear boundary.

Tracey was quite surprised at how much more groceries she could fit in the back of a coupe compared to a fastback,

And its a lot harder to clean the rubber off of white wheel arches than blue ones:+:+:+
