Hey Matt, any word on the court case or how Mr Hightower is doing?

I havent heard anything mate

I think hes been released on good behaviour but hes advertising cars again. Hes being a little more discriptive in his ebay adds but still not telling the whole story on the cars

You sort of have to read between the lines with his adds. So hes still being deceptive in my books but legally its open for interpretation

I reckon I met the guy about 15 years ago. He had the brown workshop just down the road and he lived in his workshop. He used to mess with older Ozzie muscle cars...might be a different bloke but he was sketchy as hell

Glad you atleast got some sort of outcome...better than nothing at all

Trojan horse?...was just messing around mate...no offence

Have you done much with it since you got it back?

Matt

Kukeste sold me a trojan horse as a project, but he copped a judgement.  It was originally imported by a Mr. John King - both in Adelaide.

Here is the latest scam email I received.  The reply I sent that led to this email asked for his paypal account.  They can't even tell when we know they are scammers :hammer:

thanks for reply, i am a marine engineer, i am at sea right now. I am buying this for my son as a surprise gift. I can  only pay through paypal at the moment as i dont have access to my bank account online(i dont have internet banking with it), but i have it attached to my paypal account, and this is why i insisted on using paypal to pay,all i will need is your paypal email address to make the payments, and if you dont have a paypal account yet, you can set one up at www.paypal.com  it cant take you less than 3mins to do that, i will be expecting your paypal email so l can pay.  I have a pick up agent that will come for the pick up after payments has been sorted, and also do get back to me with your best offer. l will be waiting for your reply asap

Cheers
Ian
