This is looking to be quite a big day with over 600 cars expected,
all makes and models from Morris Minors to Mustangs, Lada's to Lambo's
some rare collector to modern day hot rods and american muscle,
Last year was good and this year should be even better,

should be a good day
and only 5 minutes from home, what more could you want;2

Hi Guy's,

Is this event worth checking out?

Are there a few mustangs attending , if so,  it might give me a fix for the mean time until my new car arrives?

Also i'm thinking it might be a good opportunity to catch up with a few local members.

What is the format for this event? Is it meet and greet show or picnic event etc?
:(:(

Trying to get the numbers sorted the moment.  It is the last one and I expect it will be a big show.  At the club meeting old John Binge said he went to the inaugural show in the 80's with the newly formed MOCA Queensland and were promptly told the Mustang was not a classic and were not welcome.  LOL how things change.  I have booked sites for Mustang owners so we will see.

Actually it's not the last one,  only the last one at this venue as they have now outgrown the park and need a bigger venue for next year,.

Grumpy
well worth a look, last year the club didn't go and there were still about 8-10 mustangs, so I think there are maybe about 6 going from the club plus any others that turn up, and certainly plenty of others to look at, I think some of the guys may meet somewhere at browns plains and the meet up at my place in Jimboomba for coffee before the show,
so if you want want an early ish start (guesing around 8.30) and meet some of the guys and fancy a coffee I'll u2u my address, otherwise may see you there

Russell W and I are meeting at the club house at 7am for a departure at 7.10am for those who are intersted.  There are a few from the Coast PaulR, Pedro and maybe Shelbymustro, do you want to meet at the Grand PLaza on Browns Plains Rd at 7.30am.  Gates open at 8am.  We will go to Lees house and catch up there?  How does that sound?

Guys I was thinking meet at my place around 8.30 for coffee and leave about 9 ish for the show, which is plenty early enough for the shown,
last year the crowds didn't roll in until after 9,
you can all have an extra 1/2 hour in bed (with mummy) as it's their special day . lol

Daryll do you know the way to my place? do you want directons?

Mate I think all us men were genetically born with that one!!

Thank god too!!

And even if you could wear some sort of protection against it, l really don’t think there would be too many takers for it!!

Just another point that proved the all mighty was a male in my view.

OK if that's decided I can make it there at 7.30 am if that's the designated time.
I haven't been to that shopping centre for a number of years but I remember it's pretty big, so at what particular point do we meet there?

The beauty of that time of the day is we will be easy to spot, we will park near the Mt Lindsay H/Way and Browns Plains road.  Probably leave about 8 to catch  up with Lee so he can have his beauty sleep, catch up with you there Pedro
