    Hi all,

I’ve got a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. The car was bought back in the early 70s after someone had done quite a bit of engine work to it (done up for track racing).

I’m now in the process of selling the vehicle for my father however we cannot locate the Serial number. It seems on VicRoads there is one associated with the vehicle however cannot find one anywhere in the engine bay, door sills, or near the windscreen, if anyone has any ideas on where this could be?

On a 1969 Mach 1 check the VIN on the driver side dash (visible through the windscreen), the driver door plate and the inner guard under the bonnet. Some cars also have it stamped on the engine block or transmission. If you still can’t find it, VicRoads can guide a physical inspection.
