Hi Glen.
The shift kit and heavy duty clutches won’t change the look of the gearbox. It’s an internal upgrade to handle more power and give you crisper shifts. The C4 will still operate in the same way. To have full manual only control you would need a fully Manualised valve body. Cheers.

After a few issues I was finally able to log in and was going to ask the same question.

Advice Sought on 1965 Mustang Ignition Start Issues
My 1965 Mustang now refuses to start once I turn the igntion key to fire up the starter motor. Oddly, it also seems to lose power to the instrument panel and radio when I turn the key – I’m not sure if that gives any clues. I have now replaced the starter motor, solenoid and ignition switch -…

Michael, check the power feed wires and connections from your battery and the solenoid. Make sure those wires are ok and the earth connections.
